Problem Note 34946: Legend entries might not line up inside the legend frame

DetailsAboutRate It

Entries in a legend generated by SAS/GRAPH procedures might not line up correctly inside the legend frame. The problem can occur when using a hardware font, such as Arial or Courier, for the legend text.

To circumvent the problem, do one of the following:

  1. Specify a SAS software font instead of a hardware font for the legend text.
  2. Specify the ACROSS= and/or DOWN= option on the LEGEND statement to rearrange the legend entries.
  3. In SAS 9.2, specify the NOGSTYLE option on an OPTIONS statement prior to generating the graph. For example:
    options nogstyle;
